Friday, 7th Dec

Went out with Tom & da mummy for Ramen @ Ramen Monster! I tell you...I dont really like ramen, but the ramen here......!!!!! The eggs!!!! Hard on the outside & still half-boiled on the inside, soft & squishy & still flowing! Just how I like it! :D

If only I get to do food advertorials hahaha!! Oh gosh! The soup is free of MSG & extremely delicious! One try if definitely not enough!

Tom had the $20.90 bowl of goodness! There was a challenge involved! Finish it all up in 20 minutes & you get the whole bowl free!! He even had to sign an indemnity form! Hahaha super joke! It was soooo big! But he didn't finish it in the end cos my mum said, "enjoy your food la!" LOL!

Then headed down to Avalon with the party-but-not-so-party people & brought Tom for his virgin club experience!

The club was kinda empty cos the experienced clubbers went on to ZoukOut!!! WOohooOoO (me no shen cai to go there!)

He said he won't go again! :( "2 meat rubbing against each other"

Poor Rawchi had to strut barefooted along the beautiful helix bridge to look for the next breakfast place! But OO~OO~OO~ ITS ALWAYS A GOOD TIME with her & drinks :D

Saturday, 8th Dec

Woke up around 4pm after reaching home at about 7 plus?!?!?! And headed down to MBS (AGAIN!!!!) to watch Yun play the violin at Child Aid 2012!

Their camwhoring. And I was late as usual.... *inserts guilty face*

Did you know that Lays chips in MBS theatres COST $4?!!?! Sounding like a complete cheapo here but, WTF THATS A COMPLETE RIP OFF FOR THOSE WHO HAD CRAVINGS THE MOMENT THEY SAW IT! (Sab & I)

By the intermission, Sab & I gave in to our cravings & hunted for Lays for the next 15 mins (look for 7-11 but too far away, looked inside guardian & watsons but ended up in cold storage queuing up for at least 3 minutes to pay for this baby!!)

AND OBVIOUSLY SMUGGLED THIS SHIT INTO THE HALLLLL HAHAHAHAHAH

The performance was jaw-dropping awesome!!!! Kids younger than us!!! SING & PLAYING VIOLINS & DANCING AND JUST BEING PLAIN AWESOME! Especially the girl who sang Halo with her sister & the guys with the guitars doing their magic PLUS NOT FORGETTING THE YOUNG GIRL WHO SANG 'IF I AIN'T GOT YOU' WHOA. Mind-blowing awesome. Sab & I just held chips in our hands & opened our mouths staring at her until she ended!!!

Saw Hanis in the reception who performed in 'The Boys' & 'Call Me Maybe'

Just. Freaking. Good. Thank you all for this wonderful experience ^^ Thank you Yun especially for the tickets & letting us sit RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR PARENTS WITHOUT TELLING US HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH (while we were screaming your name!!!)

It was amaaaaaaazing performance! :D

Christmas mood!

So the first thing I did after the exams wasssssssssss

BBQ!

Nothing much to elaborate here but it was really budget and filling and comfortable to be around so many people that used to hang out!! Except Tricia & Sherm were busy with projects and tests!

It was just a random BBQ with nobody's birthday, nobody's celebration (okay maybe mine because exams were over!). And people had to leave early cos they had FYP, intern, tests, flying option!

Love them so much for coming down! :D

And then cos mummy & my sibs went over to my aunt's place, Des & Joycelyn decided to stay over at my place to accompany me! :DDDDD Freaking love la!!!! Thanks gaaaaaais!! Played COD's zombie version till I have no idea what time!! And woke up to do men's make up tutorial on Wednesday! (worth another post!)

Thursday, 6th Dec

My awesome MNO groupmates ;)

Met XinMun, XinNi, JinLi & Danielle for lunch! Though technically I didn't have lunch with them (sitting down) but I still had lunch with them (while they were shopping & I was walking around with my food in hand)

Then met Mauren for Hatched! OMGGGGG HATCHED WAS SOOOO GOOOOOD!!!!!!!

I really like this door!

The muffin underneath the salmon just melts in your mouth while the eggs are perfectly done! Mauren's beef was perfectly done cos it was still soft & tender inside her burger! Oh goshhhhh NEED. ANOTHER. VISIT!!!!

Yun & I wanted to sing this song so badly 'cos it was stuck in our heads but we didn't the know the lyrics & attempted to find them at least 4 times but kept forgetting-.-

Anyway, EXAMS ARE OVER!!!!! Although I kinda worry about the results. AT LEAST THEY ARE OVER RIGHT!!! Aaaaaand, the A level's have ended too! :D Congratulations poor guys!

Went to roam about randomly with Yun after the paper!

Ended up in Orchard with dinner at some random chinese restaurant and to Acid Bar! With 2 nice sweet cocktails! Banana and lychee! The live band was not bad! :D

Had a rather interesting talk! It seems we share the same thinkings! :D Sab should have been there! :'(

So yesterday (Sunday, 2nd December 2012)

Before the run at about 6am!:)

I ran my 2nd half marathon with Tom (because I couldn't find Aunty Lee Lee in the mass of people!) and finished in 3 hours and 15 mins, OMG WHY LONGER?! Phail whale. This time my knees not so bad! Not THAT painful & torturous! Poor Tom got to rest his knees for a week due to his inflamed tendons in camp. HAHA! Good for you!

The route allowed us to run through USS for FREE!!! Awesome hor? WHO GETS TO RUN IN USS?! Us standard chartered half marathon runners! Only half wor! On a bad note, there were TONS of slopes my god.

It took quite a lot of motivation from Tom to keep up my pace cos my knees were really killing me. By the 3rd km I wanted to walk so badly...and I did cos Tom was all "I'd rather you break from your principles than break your knees." So I painfully stopped (yes, painfully from both ways you look at it)

Around the 17th km, there was this guy from the full marathon who was running his 38th km (i guess, i cant rmb) who saw me in need of some medical help and passed me this:)

Thank you so much whoever you are! It really lasted me all the way! 'Cos i kept telling myself "he gave up his tiger blam for me! I should just go all the way!!!!' And i did! And with the help of Tom who never gave up on me (cos I was damn bloody slow pls omg) which resulted in his tendon inflammation :') So toucheddddd!!!!

There were also people who wore funny suits to motivate runners to run! :D Awesome! (Y) really tough leh to run with those heavy, smelly, stuffy, tight-fitting costumes all the way!

And we finished! :) Slow but rock steady!

The two of them were on a serious discussion: If you knock the mascot down, you think it can stand up? -.- And then "eh vanessa you go hi 5 him leh see whether he will stand up or not" LOL. And they concluded it wont, TERRIBLE! Hhaha!

After the run I had to head down Utown to meet Joshua & Evelyn to study for my very cui Acc module......and I slept and drooled on my paper-.- Bloody heck, PEOPLE OUT THERE, PLS DONT EVER DO THAT K. YOU NO HERO!!! If you can, pls tell me, i will seriously salute you!!!
